The Big 4 of Thrash Metal (Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax & Megadeth) are coming to the East Coast! On Wednesday September 14 history will be made when The Big 4 hit a Grand Slam at the Yankee Stadium. We're pretty sure that this show will be even better then then one in Indio, California. Tickets go on sale on Friday, May 6 on Ticketmaster!
After the success of the first US Big 4 show, which featured the Kings of Thrash Metal: Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax, the Metallica team is already busy planning some future shows here in the US.
As we all know, the historical show took place this past weekend in Indio, California and it united over 50,000 headbangers. Everything went very smoothly, every band sounded amazing and everyone who was part of the Big 4 was revitalized from the amazing energy present at the event.
Right after the show Rolling Stone interviewed Metallica's Lars Ulrich, here is what he had to say about the Big 4 East Coast takeover:
“We are looking to book something on the East Coast because of the success of this — it should hopefully come together in a week or two. Maybe we’ll do some other shows in the Midwest and South, too. Still, I don’t think it will turn into a 40-date arena tour; that would make it less special. I like the fact that there’s an element of chaos to the whole thing. It shouldn’t be sterile, streamlined and perfect: it needs an edgy underbelly to remain authentic.”
This is indeed amazing news! Rest assured that we'll keep you posted with more details about future Big 4 shows.
History was made yesterday in the middle of the desert, as the Big 4 (Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth & Anthrax) delivered historical performances to the 50,000+ headbangers that united at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California, as one big Heavy Metal family . Seeing so many headbangers in one place is living proof that Heavy Music is alive and well!
The show of the year here in the US kicked off at 4 o'clock with a highly energetic set by Anthrax, who banged out song after song to the hungry crowd. The band sounded very tight and from the moment they hit the stage with a very energetic set, it didn't take them long at all to get the sweaty crowd on their feet, inside the pit, and singing in unison to songs like "Caught In a Mosh", "Among the Living", "Indians", and "I Am the Law". Here is Anthrax's complete set-list:
1) Caught in a Mosh 2) Got the Time (Joe Jackson cover) 3) Madhouse 4) Among the Living 5) Antisocial (Trust cover) 6) Indians 7) Fight 'Em Till You Can't 8) Metal Thrasing Mad 9) A.I.R. 10) I am the Law
Next up was Megadeth, a band that is always ready to melt faces and get the crowd headbanging out of control. Dave Mustaine and company delivered the goods as usual, and made it evident that the technicality of this band is mind blowing, crushing, and any headbangers dream. While Dave Mustaine has lost vocal power throughout the years, his attitude has not aged one day. The thousands of Megadeth fanatics lost their minds when the band demolished their ear drums with songs like "Sweating Bullets", "Symphony of Destruction", and "Peace Sells". Here is Megadeth's complete set-list:
As soon as Slayer stepped on stage, the sweaty crowd recharged their batteries and entered the pits of hell. Performing at big shows is something Slayer is very used to, and it is actually were the band puts on the best shows. The entire band sounded amazing, specially Dave Lombardo who's drums sounded like thunder! Filling in for Jeff Hanneman was Gary Holt from Exodus, who proved to be a perfect fit.
The band unsurprisingly got the pit to revolt out of control as they played crowd favorites such as "War Ensemble", "Raining Blood", and "Seasons in the Abyss". The band concluded their set with their epic hits "South of Heaven" and "Angel of Death" with their original guitarist Jeff Hanneman, who is recovering from surgery. Jeff was on fire and his performance definitely shut the mouths of those who hinted that he was quitting Slayer.
Here is Slayer's complete set-list:
1) World Painted Blood 2) Hate Worldwide 3) War Ensemble 4) Postmortem 5) Raining Blood 6) Black Magic 7) Dead Skin Mask 8) Americon 9) Silent Scream 10) The Antichrist 11) Seasons in the Abyss 12) Payback 13) Snuff 14) South of Heaven 15) Angel of Death
Right after Slayer left every single member of the crowd with their ear drums pounding, seas of people entered the pit area in order to be as close as possible to Metallica. After impatiently waiting for the biggest band in Heavy Music to take center stage, the roar of the crowd was absolutely insane once the band kicked off their set with "Creeping Death", and it continued throughout their entire set which included anthems like "Fade to Black", "One", "Master of Puppets", "Nothing Else Matters", "Enter Sandman", and "Seek & Destroy."
The highlights of the night was when Metallica performed "Orion" and when they invited the rest of the bands on stage to perform Diamond Head's "Am I Evil". This was a historic moment, and everyone in the crowd had to rub their eyes a few times. Here is Metallica's complete set-list:
1) Creeping Death 2) For Whom the Bell Tolls 3) Fuel 4) Ride the Lighting 5) Fade to Black 6) Cyanide 7) All Nightmare Long 8) Sad But True 9) Welcome Home (Sanitarium) 10) Orion 11) One 12) Master of Puppets 13) Blackened 14) Nothing Else Matters 15) Enter Sandman 16) Am I Evil (Diamond Head cover) 17) Hit the Lights 18) Seek & Destroy
It was absolutely amazing to be part of this historic event and there is no doubt in our minds that all four bands proved to be the Kings of Thrash Metal. Metallica also made it clear that they are the biggest band in Heavy Music and that they have plenty of fire left (even though they literally burned a lot of it last night). Stay tuned for our EXCLUSIVE video. \m/
Here's what the fans have to say about the BIG 4: "Fuck this years Big 4 was better than Bulgaria's show, but i still enjoyed both shows... ANTHRAX, MEGADETH, SLAYER, METALLICA: thank you for the best fucking performance in Metal history....u guys will always have my support \m/" - Oscar Barrera Guardiola (Spain)
"I gotta say that the M.V.P. of the entire night was Jeff Hanneman, the lead guitarist for Slayer. Dude hasn't played in a while now... has flesh-eating bacteria on his arm... let me repeat:A GUITAR PLAYER WHOSE ARM IS EATING ITSELF... and he came out to join the band for the last two songs of the set wearing a shirt with only one long sleeve... likely covering all the massive bandages/wounds. THAT is truly 'METAL!" - Jason Lee Beckwith (California)
"BEST SHOW IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. A PART OF METAL HISTORY I WILL TAKE IT TO MY GRAVE. LOVE ALL OF YOU VERY MUCH. METAL FOREVER." - Linda May (Mexico)
"EPIC SHOW! I stood up for 12 hours straight, got sunburned, didn't eat for 15 hours, beer spilled on me, and my arms sore as hell. I loved it! the PIT was great!" - Christian Armenta (California)
"We can't think of a better place to have the first US Big 4 show, then right here in Southern California. We will see you all again very soon! Thank you for being part of history, Metallica loves you!" -Lars Ulrich (Metallica)
Have you ever wondered what a Heavy Music show would be without a good amount of cold refreshing beer? It would be like eating a burger without cheese! While we as Metaleros tend to disagree and argue about different bands, we all agree that beer is the international drink of choice for the headbangers of the world.
Today is National Beer Day, yes a day devoted to our favorite drink! Whither you are cheap beer drinker and love the taste of Coors Light, Bud Light and PBR. Or you only consume high quality beer because you believe in catching a quality buzz. We can all agree that beer is a key element of the music scene we all love! So how did this awesome Metallic beverage arrive to the United States?
As we all know, Milwaukee (beer capital of the world) is synonymous to beer here in the United States and is were the first brewery (The Milwaukee Brewery) was established in the 1850's. But who brought beer into the United States? The Germans of course. When the Germans arrived to Milwaukee in the 1850's, they brought with them the knowledge of how to brew the best beer in the world (whoever argues that German beer is not the best, doesn't know much about beer). Did you know that Milwaukee was once the home to four of the world's largest breweries (Schlitz, Blatz, Pabst, and Miller)?
So how did National Beer Day get established?
In 1933 during the prohibition era, President Franklin Roosevelt signed the Cullen-Harrison Act on March 23rd. The law was enacted on April 7th. This law gave the green light for the legal brewing and sale of beer in the United States as long as it was < 3.2% (4% ABV). It is said that numerous amount of people waited in line overnight on April 6th outside Milwaukee breweries just so they could legally buy beer for the first time in over 13 years. And this is why April 7th (today) is National Beer Day and April 6th is called New Beers Eve.
Here is a rundown of which Metal icons have made beer popular within the Heavy Music world:
- Pantera: The Kings Of Metal would often bring cups of beer on stage and throw them to the hungry crowd. They also required for anyone working with them to be an avid drinker, because in Pantera once the show was over, it was party time!
- Metallica (or Alcohollica): They are not only the biggest Heavy Metal band in history, but they used to also be the drunkest band of them all. As we all know James Hetfield took an extended break in 2001 to go through a rehabilitation process.
- Slayer: The most evil band in Heavy Metal supports beer, almost as much as they support religion (yeah right). Guitarist Jeff Hanneman had a guitar built for him with the Heineken logo with a twist involved: the guitar reads Hanneman (instead of Heineken), Anti Christ - Premium Quality.
- Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society): The mountain man of Metal was an avid Beck's drinker and would often have a case or two with him, which he would consume while doing press. He had to cut-down after having his doctors found blood clots in his body.
The list goes and on, but you get the picture. So Heavy National Beer Day and remember to never drink and drive, drinking is fun but don't be stupid! \m/

This has all been done through hard work, dedication and passion. Our recent events are living proof of this. I am personally very stoked about our upcoming journey to the West Coast and I am looking forward to covering the Revolver Golden Gods Awards and the Big 4! See you in the pit!"

Needless to say, this is the tour of the year and as of right now the only show scheduled in North, Central and South America. After last years successful Big 4 tour in Europe, the Metallica clan (who organized the whole event) decided it was time to deliver the heaviness to the US Metaleros.
Guitarist Pat O'Brien from Death Metal masters Cannibal Corpse will be joining Slayer on their current European tour, as Gary Holt from Exodus (who has been filling in for Slayer's Jeff Hanneman) will be joining his band Exodus for their April 4 gig at "Estadio Nacional" in Santiago, Chile. Hanneman was forced to miss Slayer's European tour after being diagnosed with necrotizing fasciitis (commonly known as flesh-eating disease). Holt has been filling in for Hanneman since Slayer kicked off their touring cycle on February 26 in Australia.
Holt's last gig with Slayer will be on April 4 in Padova, Italy. O'Brien will be joining the band for their show April 6 show in Croatia, and will perform with Slayer until the end of their European tour on April 14 in Eindhoven, Holland.

After over a decade of not sharing a stage, the mighty Slayer and the dangerous Rob Zombie will be headlining a historic North American summer tour. The two titans will be joined by the Thrash Metal legends Exodus! The summer trek will kick off on Wednesday, July 20 at the Sovereign Center in Reading, PA and will conclude on Saturday, August 6 at the WaMu Theatre in Seattle, WA. Tickets go on sale on Friday, April 1 at 10:00 AM and it will sell out. The big question that all Slayer fans have is whither guitarist Jeff Hanneman will be back with Slayer for this tour? Sources close to the band are confident that Jeff will back on stage and ready to shred and melt faces!
"We haven't toured with Zombie since Ozzfest 1999, so you can expect no less than 'hell on earth,'" said Slayer's Kerry King. "Total sonic annihilation and a visual bludgeoning. Bring your own body bag..."
"Total destruction on stage and off is what this combination promises," states Zombie, "Seriously, how much more Hell could you ask for? The answer is none more Hell."
Here are some facts about these 3 phenomenal bands:
Slayer was formed by Jeff Hanneman and Kerry King in 1981 in Huntington Park, California. Slayer became a global phenomenon when they released Reign in Blood in 1986, which is considered one of the most influential Heavy Metal records of all time. Slayer are the kings of fast tremolo picking, atonal guitar solos, double bass drumming, and screaming vocals. They have always had controversial lyrics and album art, and as a result have had several album bans, delays, lawsuits and lots of criticism from religious groups and the general public. Slayer has won 2 Grammy's, one in 2007 for the song "Eyes of the Insane", and one in 2008 for the song "Final Six". They are also part of the "Big Four" of the Bay Area Thrash Metal family, along with Metallica, Anthrax and Megadeth.
Rob Zombie has sold more than 15 million albums, has seven Grammy nominations, has also directed five major motion pictures (including the #1 record-breaking Halloween) and dozens of music videos. With over 25 years under his belt as a successful entrepreneur, his unique meld of horror and Hard Rock has influenced him as a musician, and more recently, as a director and writer. After this not to be missed tour, Zombie will be starting production on his sixth feature film, "The Lords of Salem", with the producers of the Paranormal Activity franchise. Joining Rob Zombie on this tour once again, will be drummer Joey Jordison from Slipknot.
Exodus was formed by Kirk Hammett (Metallica), Gary Holt and Tom Hunting in 1980 in San Francisco, California. After 30 years of ups and downs, including numerous lineup changes, two extended hiatuses, and the deaths of two former band members. Exodus is still standing heavy and strong. Gary Holt, who is currently replacing Jeff Hanneman in Slayer, remains the only constant member of the band. On the other hand, drummer Tom Hunting who is also one of the founding members, has departed from the band twice but he is back behind the throne of Exodus.
Tour dates: - July 20, 2011: Sovereign Center, Reading, PA - July 22, 2011: DTE Amphitheatre, Detroit, MI - July 23, 2011: Stage AE, Pittsburgh, PA - July 27, 2011: MTS Centre, Winnipeg, MB Canada - July 29, 2011: Credit Union Centre, Saskatoon, SK Canada - July 30, 2011: Scotiabank Saddledome, Calgary, AB Canada - July 31, 2011: Rexall Place, Edmonton, AB Canada - August 2, 2011: Save-On-Foods Memorial Center, Victoria, BC Canada - August 3, 2011: Rogers Arena, Vancouver, BC Canada - August 5, 2011: Rose Quarter Memorial Coliseum, Portland, OR - August 6, 2011: WaMu Theatre, Seattle, WA
Slayer's legendary guitarist Jeff Hanneman has been forced to miss the Australian Soundwave Festival, which Slayer is schedule to perform at on February 26th after contriving an acute infection known as necrotizing fasciitis (usually caused by a spider bite). The band made this hard decision because they didn't want to cancel on their loyal fans, specially after being forced to postpone or cancel a significant amount of tour dates in 2009 and 2010 after Tom Araya underwent a surgical procedure in order to relieve the extreme pain he had on back and neck. Speaking of Araya, here is his official statement about this new challenge for the mighty Slayer:
"Jeff is our brother, we've all been friends and together as a band for almost 30 years, so we just want him to completely recover as soon as possible."
To this Kerry King added:
"After everything that happened last year, we all agreed that we just can't let our fans down again. Jeff is totally on board with this decision, so we will tour as planned. At this point, we can't pinpoint exactly what day he'll be back, but he'll be back as soon as he possibly can. And we can't wait for Jeff to get better and get his ass back on the road."
In a recent interview that Kerry King did for Australia's Loud magazine, after being asked why Slayer has outlasted so many bands, he said: "Well, the front three people never changed, and I think that's important. You've got to have a nucleus of people where you never wonder who is going to be onstage. As far as a band thing, I think that's important. I don't mean that as a shot on MEGADETH, but at the end of the day, MEGADETH is Dave Mustaine and that's it. It's whoever Dave decides to play with on this record. Could you imagine watching SLAYER without me, Jeff orTom? It just couldn't happen! That's something to be said there, because we're all irreplaceable. The last few years I've noticed people in bands are almost interchangeable. I've seen some of my friends stay home because their wives were going to have a baby and they'd have somebody replace them when they play live, and I think… how can you fucking do that?"
The band has announced that Gary Holt from Exodus will replace Jeff on this tour. This information is official and it comes from reliable sources that are close to the band. Anything else your read or hear, is just a rumor. We wish Jeff a speedy recovery and to the rest of the Slayer team the best of luck with this new challenge!
This morning the following image was posted on Metallica's Official site:
Does this mean that the "Big 4" of 80s Thrash Metal are taking over the United States? If so, where will the tour take place? Will it be a national tour ala Ozzfest? Or will it just hit a few cities? A European tour is also being planned for this summer. Regardless of when and where it happens, this will be the tour of the year! So who are the "Big 4"?
- METALLICA - SLAYER - MEGADETH - ANTHRAX
The "Big 4" teamed up in Europe last summer at the Sonisphere Festival, for a series of historical concerts. One of those concerts took place in Sofia, Bulgaria on June 22, 2010. This show was recorded and edited for a DVD/Blu-ray. It was also aired in over 800 cinemas worldwide on the same day of the festival. It is calculated that over 100,000 people experienced this concert. But it didn't stop there!
Here are some statistics about this release:
- The two-disc DVD release of "The Big Four: Live From Sofia, Bulgaria", has been certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipments in excess of 100,000 copies. (Note: Due to the fact that the set consists of two discs, it was eligible for platinum certification after shipping 50,000 copies; platinum certification for a single-disc release is 100,000 copies.)
- "The Big Four: Live From Sofia, Bulgaria" debuted at number 1 on the Billboard "Top Music Videos" sales chart in November.
- The set also debuted at No. 1 in Canada, the U.K. and Austria, while entering at No. 4 in Germany.
"So it was a lot of fun, a lot of memories, a lot of fun times — new fun times, and fun times talking about the old fun times. So it sort of was a, it was a winner on every front." - Lars Ulrich (Metallica)
The nominees for the 53rd Grammy Awards, presented by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, were announced yesterday. The event will take place on February 13, 2011 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. While this award show does not represent Heavy Music the way the Golden Gods Awards do, it is still the most important award show in the world when it comes to music. Representing Heavy Music this year we have: Ozzy Osbourne, Slayer, Alice In Chains, Lamb Of God, Korn and Megadeth.
Here are the nominees for Best Hard Rock Performance (For solo, duo, group or collaborative performances, with vocals. Singles or Tracks only.):

When it comes to drumming techniques, there are very few drummers that can deliver every hit with so much precision and technique, like Slayer's Dave Lombardo does. What started as a hobby soon became the key to a successful career. Apart from his work with Slayer, Lombardo has merged into other musical genres and has managed to leave his drumming trademark in every project he has been part of. What sets Dave Lombardo apart is his diverse style, which is a result of his extensive musical taste.
Recently, our friends over at Music Photocalypse caught up with Dave Lombardo at the Sonisphere Festival in Finland to discuss Lombardo's role as Slayer's drummer, and also his many side projects. Also discussed are his kids’ musical tastes, his collaboration with Mike Patton from Faith No More, and much more. Without further due, here is an interview with one of the best drummers in the history of Rock N’ Roll.
Slayer has gone from getting no recognition by regular radio and television, to performing on national programs like Jimmy Kimmel Live. Do you feel that this is something Slayer earned after so many years of hard work, or is it something that the band would rather not have happening?
Dave: I think it is earned, because we have worked hard. We have not gone away, we have not been lazy. We have always kept doing what we liked to do, and also doing what felt right to us.
A lot of people work better with the pressure of a deadline. You guys actually wrote most of “World Painted Blood” album in the studio. Did this add more pressure to the band thus affecting the band’s creativity?
Dave: I think it improved the creativity of the band. It did not put any pressure on anybody. I think, what it did – it just made us work harder together, instead of, you know, knowing that there was enough time and you argue and you know, things break down, whatever, musically. But it did not happen this time, this time we all worked together.
What about the visual concept of the album? When we saw the promo video about the guy killing women to create a copy of his mother from their body parts, we were definitely shocked.
Dave: I do not like it at all. But that is the part of the arts of SLAYER. But it is not something I like too much. I think it could have been done in a different way.
A lot of drummers constantly practice to progress. I’ve heard that you do not practice at home and you also do not warm up before the shows. How do you manage to be so precise?
Dave: Well, I have a different kind of philosophy. When I go to practice with the band, let’s say a week before we go on tour, every day that I practice is a day that I am warmed up. So if I played yesterday, why do I need to warm up today, when I am already strong from the day before? I think sometimes you tire yourself out. I tire myself out, why would I do this? I will sit like this before I go on stage (pretends to sit on a drum throne), maybe I will stretch a little bit, but just stretching, not doing any kind of drumming.
Since you joined Slayer, how did your approach to drumming change, comparing the beginning of SLAYER’s history and when you came back after being away for 10 years?
Dave: I feel like the stuff I did before “Decade Of Aggression” was very immature. I think the stuff that I am playing now is more mature, it is a little better, and it is structured better. The drum rolls have a little more flavor than before. Back then they were cut up thoughtless. But some people don’t agree with that. They think that those old records are good, which I agree, they are good, but they could have been better.
What is the biggest difference between playing with SLAYER and playing with other bands?
Dave: Slayer’s music is more physical, it is more like I am going to the gym. With other bands, if we take Fantômas for example, which is Mike Patton’s band that I play in, it is very different – that music is very thought-out. You have to really think about what you are going to do.
Speaking of Fantômas, how did that come about and how does it feel to work with Mike Patton?
Dave: Mike Patton is great, he is a genius. I love working with that guy! We have always known what each other is working on. Me and Mike Bordin (the drummer of Faith No More), we are fans of each other’s work, so we always said hi to each other, we knew each other. Patton was a Slayer fan, well, still is into Slayer. Faith No More played their last show in Los Angeles and I went there and Patton approached me like 3 months later after I met him at that show. He approached me and asked me if I wanted to play in a band that he was putting together. He explained the music and I said “I understand what you want”.
So of all the projects and bands that you have played with, which is the most interesting one?
Dave: Fantômas.
Well, that is quite understandable. I’ve heard that you are working on a solo percussion album, how is that going?
Dave: Slow [laughs] I can’t finish it. It is like I want to finish it so bad, but I can’t for some reason. I have all my stuff with me, my little studio travels with me, but I just can’t. When I am flying almost every other day, I am playing a show every day; it is very difficult to get into that mood.
Is it just percussion, or is there some accompanying music?
Dave: I call it drum music; to me it is like almost world music, a little bit like that. A little bit strange, it is more ambient, with soundtrack kind of music.
What do your kids listen to?
Dave: Muse, Circa Survive, The Fall of Troy, and more of modern Metal. Are they into the music you are writing?
Dave: I don’t know. I played our CDs for them. But they are more into newer stuff that is coming out. And they introduced me to an awesome band by the way. You probably going to laugh, but do you know that “Black Parade” album?
The album by My Chemical Romance?
Dave: Yes. But it is a fantastic album! Ok the band… It is not really metal. But the album is really good. “American Idiot” by GREEN DAY – this one is also a fantastic album. My kids all love their music. So I really got into some of those albums. To me they are really good because they got solid musical structures, great songs and their music is good...
Is there any work that you have done in the past which you would redo if you had a chance?
Dave: Yeah, the DJ Spooky album, that rap-record I did. I wasn’t satisfied with it then. Maybe some of the playing could have been better.
Many musicians, especially vocalists and guitarists, in some kind of fit of honesty admit that they got into music mostly to get laid and to score with chicks. So what is the deal for drummers, because nobody can see them usually?
Dave: I know that is true. I think initially I got into music, because, of course, I wanted to be a rock star and it had to do with chicks…
So you have that too *laughs*
Dave: So yeah, I have that too.
But it is probably much easier for a vocalist to score chicks than a drummer…
Dave: Oh yeah, for a vocalist it’s easy, he could be 4 feet tall and not a great singer and he would still get all the chicks. But are you asking if it is easier for me? Sometimes.
Well, I don’t mean for you, but for drummers in general.
Dave: Yeah… Once they find out that it’s the drummer, then something happens. Slayer has an image of being a cool tough band, but have you ever had any Spinal Tap moments?
Dave: All the time, like getting lost while getting off-stage. You know it is like “where do I go?” and I can’t find my way to the dressing room. That has happened to me. I started the wrong song, like we are playing a set on stage and I start the wrong song. One time with Fantômas I fell off my drum riser, things like that happen all the time. I fell off my drum riser, things like that happen all the time. \m/

Here is the Video Premiere you have all been waiting for, this is Megadeth with their classic "Symphony of Destruction" (Courtesy of Noisecreep):
For many years Kerry King from Slayer and Dave Mustaine from Megadeth, could not stomach each others presence. It all started when King was a temporary member of Megadeth, and Mustaine asked him to quit Slayer and join Megadeth as a full time member. At that time Mustaine told King that he found Slayer to be a lame band full of poseurs, that liked wearing spikes and eye liner. King obviously ditched Megadeth and kept the Slayer machine rolling.
During the 80's there was a verbal battle going on between the 2 shredders, which included name calling and useless comparisons between the accomplishments of both bands. After Dimebag Darrell's death in 2004, Dave Mustaine reached out to Kerry King, but King wanted nothing to do with Mustaine.
This "battle" was silenced forever when Slayer and Megadeth joined forces earlier this year, for the Big 4 concerts in Europe. In case you have been living under a rock, the Big 4 include Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax. When asked about the feud, both man agreed that they are on good terms and that the media blew things out of proportion.
After months of touring together, and with enough time for King and Mustaine to patch things up. The moment thousands of Metal heads worldwide were waiting for, finally happened! Kerry King joined Megadeth last week in Los Angeles, and together they performed the song "Rattlehead". This was the first time that Kerry King joined Megadeth on stage since 1984!
