Kanye West Performs "Power" & "Runway" (SNL) Videos

After the SNL people dissed him not once but twice after the whole Taylor Swift
debacle, Kanye released the song POWER from his yet unnamed new album, which inclues the lyrics:

"Fuck SNL and the whole cast / Tell 'em Yeezy said they can kiss my whole ass / More specifically they can kiss my asshole.”

And since his last performance on the show was such an auto tune disaster, Kanye knew he needed to do something big and bold to proof all the haters he was back, first off he made a very radical change to the now infamous line, on the live telecast West sang:

"The brown hero, live from Ground Zero/Machine gun flow, made her get a Ross Perot/And this is disestablishmentarianism / With my night goggles on, got military vision And it's still a very Christian way to think about livin'/ When you prayin' for freedom ’cause your mind been in prison/'Cause they tryin' to control every single big decision."

More importantly the whole white staging and the large group of dancers was amazing, welcome back you crazy, egotistical sonofabitch, I was/am on Team Kanye all the way, swear!!

About working with Fiona on her videos PT Anderson said:

"While we like working together and obviously benefit from it, we're aware of the super-couple stigma. We are consciously "trying to keep a slightly low profile because we realize that we would hate us. We want to stick to the work. I wanted to direct Fiona Apple videos before I went out with Fiona, so generally what we do is do cool videos together and keep our mouths shut about them."

Robyn - Hyperballad Bjork Cover Video

Robyn performing Björk's Hyperballad from the album Post (1997)
at the Stockholm Concert Hall, Sweden, as part of the 19th annual Polar Music Prize ceremony, where Björk was being honored by His Majesty the King of Sweden.
Not only she did an amazin job at covering one of Björk's most iconic songs, but she also had to do it with Björk seating in first row, Bravo!!

Fiona Apple & Jon Brion "He's Funny That Way" Video

In January of this year Fiona Apple organized an event at L.A.'s Club Largo
to benefit the victims of the earthquake in Haiti, here she performs Billie Holiday's jazz standard He's Funny That Way
with producer/musician Jon Brion.
As always her voice is simply perfect!!!



PS: The reason the video is so shaky is because is a secret/unauthorized filming, since Club Largo has a very strict policy against use of any type of recording/photographing device!
