If it's under warranty get Apple to send you a new one. If not check what it's power output is. The newer ones are 65W and there's fewer third party chargers that provide that level of output. The old ones were 45W and there's stacks of third party chargers that are compatible. An even cursory glance at a place like OWC should find some.

Not necessarily, it could be a loss leader. Apple's margin on products is generally 35%, however.I was just about to post about this likely being a loss leader. They're generating buzz and traffic in their stores. Their losses on the iPad are designed to turn profit on other sales.

I just hope there is some mention of this at next month's rumored iOS 5 developer media event. I've wondered off and on how :apple: would distinguish and bring their own mapping application to iOS devices (and possibly Macs) apart from Google Maps. Graphically and for overall user experience, I much prefer Google Maps over Bing Maps, MapQuest, and the like. Just hope :apple: will bring something stronger and more robust than Mountain View.

After recently watching Tron Legacy in the movie theater, I loved how the different soldiers and those who wore helmets sounded with their voices modified. Is there a program available that could help me replicate that with my own voice? Their voices sounded very electronic.

I wanted an app that would show me the current month and following month's calendars in a small window, for when I'm planning the next couple of week's activities. I found it as CalendarCenter (http://www.macdev.ca/macos/Freeware.html) from MacDev.ca. It's not elegant but it does just the one trick I wanted. My mac is 31 months old and I just brought a external harddrive to back it up among other things. The harddrive needs to be reformitted (its a WD Elements 1.5 TB) and I can not find my disk utility anywhere. I went to applications -utilities and I can not find it. Where can I find my disk utility? How can I recover it? Thanks in advanced.

We'll see. I'm hopeful for maybe 4.4. We'll see how enthusiastic the cpu is about doing that.. I'm going to be using a CM Hyper 212+ which isn't the absolute best cooler you can buy but it's also not something ridiculous like $80. Still, it will annihilate the hilariously tiny stock intel cooler for sure.
Does anyone know if the AMD 6970 is compatible with GPU2? I can't really find any conclusive information on it and of course I can't try it myself yet. Some people say forcing ati_r800 works but others don't.
