Prince William and Catherine Middleton became engaged in October 2010 in Kenya, East Africa, during a 10-day trip to the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy to celebrate William passing his RAF helicopter search and rescue course. Clarence House announced the engagement on 16 November 2010. The couple married in Westminster Abbey on 29 April 2011, with the day declared a bank holiday in the United Kingdom. The wedding was watched by a global television audience of over two billion people.
Following international attention regarding the wedding, Lifetime aired a TV movie entitled William and Kate on 18 April 2011, in the US. Catherine was played by Camilla Luddington and William by Nico Evers-Swindell.TV programmes were also shown in the UK prior to the wedding which provided deeper insights into the couple's relationship and backgrounds, including When William Met Kate and Channel 4's Meet the Middletons.
Public appearances
Catherine was formally introduced to public life on 24 February 2011, two months before the wedding, when she and William attended a lifeboat naming ceremony in Trearddur, North Wales. On 16 February 2011, Clarence House announced that the Duke and Duchess' first royal tour of Canada

The Big 4 in New York Rock City
The Big 4 of Thrash Metal (Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax & Megadeth) are coming to the East Coast! On Wednesday September 14 history will be made when The Big 4 hit a Grand Slam at the Yankee Stadium. We're pretty sure that this show will be even better then then one in Indio, California. Tickets go on sale on Friday, May 6 on Ticketmaster!

DOWN Own New York City
Last night Down performed a legendary concert at the Best Buy Theater in New York City. From the second Phil Anselmo and the boys got on stage, the crowd went wild and didn't stop raging out of control until security emptied the place up after Down destroyed everyone's necks and vocal chords. Down does not take anything for granted and they know that New York City always expects the best from them, and last night they performed their best show in New York City to this day.
The energy last night in the heart of Times Square was unbelievable, there wasn't one person standing still or frowning. Down's mission is always to jam their hearts out and regardless of how chaotic the crowd is, Phil Anselmo always demands more chaos! In a token of appreciation to all the rabid Down fans, Phil performed the entire set with a cracked open head after being hit with Pepper Keenan's guitar while the band was playing "Lifer", which they always dedicate to Anselmo's former band mate "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott. This made the crowd go absolutely insane, and from that moment on the whole place erupted into a huge mosh pit.
Performing all the "hit" songs from their three albums with full Bower Power combined with the shredding guitar of Kirk Windstein (Crowbar) and Pepper Keenan, Down is one of the tightest bands you will ever hear and last night was no exception. As in any successful band, the lead singer is the master of ceremony and Phil Anselmo last night proved that he is the best front-man in Heavy Music history. The man makes the guys lose their minds and the girls scream obnoxiously loud. All in all, a great mix of extreme music and amazing people. New York City is quickly becoming the capital of Metal, and nobody can stop us! \m/

Dino Cazares: The Riffmanufacturer
There is no doubt in our minds that Dino Cazares is one of the most versatile, original, and badass guitarists of our generation! Throughout his successful musical career Dino has proven that he is armed with an arsenal of riffs that crush you in the balls, and that each note he plays gets branded on your brain forever. This is why we decided to baptize Dino as "The Riffmanufacturer", while interviewing him at the "Black Carpet" of the Revolver Golden Gods Awards last week in Los Angeles.
Not only is Dino one of the founders of industrial Heavy Metal legends Fear Factory, the band that single handily developed the sound of Nu Metal by combining razor sharp vocals and riffs with tremendous melodies and harmonies. But he is also the founder of Death Metal Mexican-American bands Brujeria and Asesino. As if that wasn't enough, he founded Divine Heresy after leaving Fear Factory temporarily due to personal differences with singer Burton C Bell. No matter which band Dino is in, his style is always precise, dangerous, and full of cojones! The amazing work that Dino has done in Heavy Music as a guitarist, has influenced thousands of guitarists worldwide, including legends like Pantera's "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott (RIP).
While his career has hit some bumps on the road, the biggest one being when we had to leave Fear Factory. Dino today is going full force with all of his three bands: Fear Factory, Divine Heresy, and Asesino. The future is bright for Dino Cazares, and we predict a storm full of crushing riffs and amazing live performances within the next decade (at least).
